Alice Carr

Alice Carr is Executive Director for Public Policy at the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), which is working at pace to ensure that the global financial system can deliver on its net zero commitments. Alice leads on engagement with international organisations and governments across, including common approaches to transition finance and planning, mobilising private finance for transition in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies, leading GFANZ contributions on the JETPs and the scaling of high integrity voluntary carbon markets. Prior to joining GFANZ, Alice had a two-decade career in central banking, leading the Bank's contribution to a successful UK G7 Presidency Finance track, G20/FSB engagement, and on market access and trade agreements.
