Event information

The current global energy crisis is unprecedented in almost half a century. High energy prices and disrupted supply are having devastating effects on countries, economies and people, especially as many have yet to recover from the impacts of the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, climate action and a sustainable energy transition this decade remain critical to limit global warming to 1.5°C. This event will discuss how current measures can strengthen energy security in the short-term while also accelerating climate action.
