The side event seeks to discuss instruments, co-benefits and challenges of community-based adaptation and resilience actions in African, Asian and Latin-American cities. CSOs will share their context-specific experiences, identify good practices and formulate joint demands to local and international political levels. Having worked in cities and (informal) settlements for decades, Misereor and its partner organisations are well placed for advancing this discussion.
