Global Shield against Climate Risks

A joint G7/V20 initiative focused on strengthening the financial protection and resilience of vulnerable countries and people. The aim of the Global Shield is to provide and facilitate more and better pre-arranged protection against climate and disaster related risks for vulnerable people and countries. Greater financial protection and faster and more reliable disaster preparedness and response will contribute to effectively responding to loss and damage. The Global Shield Secretariat is hosted at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
