Heike Vesper

Heike Vesper has been a member of the Executive Board of WWF Germany since November 2023 and is responsible for the Transformation, Policy & Economy division. In this role, she oversees the positioning, implementation, and further development of WWF’s strategies for the sustainability transformation in politics and economy. Her areas of responsibility include climate and energy policy, economy and markets, as well as policy and biodiversity. She is the overall political representative for WWF Germany. Vesper has been working for WWF Germany for 25 years. She studied biology in Bremen and Amsterdam, specializing in ecology and marine biology.
