Millions of people worldwide are facing food security risks that are getting exacerbated by the Russian war against Ukraine as well as by climate change impacts. While some stakeholders say we must suspend environmental regulation in order to increase food production, many experts argue that short-term agricultural action should be in line with long-term sustainability targets. But how can food security be improved and the required transition of agriculture and food systems be achieved? An expert panel will present solutions for sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural systems and discuss their feasibility and co-benefits.
