Benedict Libanda

Benedict Libanda is the Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia. Leading up to this position, he held strategic positions in the field of biodiversity conservation with special focus at environmental and climate financing. A seasoned environmental expert with over 19 years’ experience in the area of environmental fiscal reforms, climate change financing, resource mobilisation, and investment structuring. He serves on several international environmental and climate change bodies. He holds a Master’s Degree in Developmental Studies from the University of the Free State, South Africa, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University Leicester, England.
