Eva Steinhaus

After nearly two decades of experience in banking, Eva Steinhaus set up the Competence Center with a regional scope for the countries of the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan in 2019. Permanently located in the UAE, she provides advise on Export Credit Guarantees of the Federal Republic of Germany to foreign buyers of German goods, representatives of exporters and financing banks. After graduating from Columbia University in New York, she commenced her career in project and export finance with a focus on the energy sector. She has held positions around the globe - in New York, Hong Kong, London, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE. Mrs Steinhaus has been living in the GCC for many years and is well versed in the language and culture of the region.
