Mathias Mogge

Mathias Mogge, appointed Secretary General/CEO of Welthungerhilfe in September 2018, brings extensive experience to the role. Having joined the organization in 1998, he served in various capacities, including as a member of the Executive Management overseeing International Programs from March 2010 to 2018. Previously, he led the "Knowledge, Innovation, Consulting" department and served as Regional Director in Bamako (Mali). Mathias also contributes his expertise in an honorary capacity as a member of the executive committee of VENRO, co-chair of VENRO since 2021, and as a member of various advisory and partnership councils in the development and nutrition sectors.
