Biography

Nohora is a young indigenous woman from Colombia. She has a degree in Biology and is a co-leader of the Feminist Action Coalition for Climate Justice of UN Women. She is a member of the organization Tejiendo Pensamiento (Indigenous Women for Climate), whose mission is the rescue of ancestral knowledge and intergenerational equity to build resilient communities, empowering girls and their allies to access the resources, networks and platforms they need to boost their activism, amplifying their voices in all areas.
