Rupa Mukerji

Rupa Mukerji is Head of Advisory Services at Helvetas. She works as a Senior Advisor on climate change adaptation. With an extensive professional background spanning over 30 years, Rupa has experience in development cooperation, strategic management, and project cycle management, working in India and providing consultancy services in various countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Rupa is a member of the advisory committees of several specialised bodies, including ETH4D and the Climate Justice and Resilience Fund. Rupa has a long history of working with the IPCC (United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and has contributed as a lead author to the 5th and 6th Assessment Reports on impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation to climate change. Rupa Mukerji was a member of the official Swiss delegation to the COP27 climate summit.
