Thiago Henrique Karai Djekupe

Graduating in Architecture and Urbanism and Advisor to the museum of indigenous cultures, Guarani Leader Thiago Henrique Karai Djekupe is the grandson of Jandira Kuerexu, the first woman to be recognized as chief in her Guarani territory. Karai follows in the footsteps of his grandmother, being one of the main people responsible for protecting Pico do Jaraguá, fighting for the demarcation of the sacred territory of his people.
