Johannes Jacob

Johannes Jacob is Lead for Data and AI Innovation for the Sector Programme Data at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). On behalf of the BMZ Data Lab, he supports governments in leveraging data and artificial intelligence to strengthen evidence-based policymaking for the public good while also sharing lessons learned with the broader German ecosystem.

Before joining GIZ, Mr. Jacob served at the Executive Office of the United Nations Secretary-General for three years.
